As we make our way out of town, hear more about the town of Winton and orientate yourself to the local attractions.  Visit the Australian Age of Dinosaurs (AAOD) with the largest collection of Australian dinosaur bones in the world. Hear how the bones are surfacing and are dug up right here in the Winton region and remain in Winton to be prepared and displayed. We also tour through the new Dinosaur Canyon comprising outdoor galleries, linked by a walking track, which displays up to 85 life-sized bronze statues of dinosaurs.

At Rangelands Station erosion has created narrow channels (rifts) through the rock of a jump up. We explore these rift formations before enjoying the spectacular views from the sunset lookout. BYO Drinks and I'll provide the nibbles. Tour start/finish times depend on sunset times during the year.
