Our local Bird Guide will take you to local birding sites to show you some of our local bird life and help you to identify their calls. You'll have plenty of opportunity to take photos along the way so bring your camera, but we also have a small number of binoculars for the group to use.

Tour Includes: Shared binoculars, local bird watching guide, bus pick up at accommodation

Duration:  3 hours
Time: typically 7.30am - 10.30am, but can vary throughout the year with sunrise variations and bird activity.
​Group Size: min 2-10 max 


What to Bring: Binoculars (if you have them), Camera, comfortable footwear, full water bottle.

Note: This tour is designed for those who want to get to know our local Winton birds a bit better and find out where to find them. If you are a really keen bird watcher and after more specific harder to find species then we can design a tailor-made provate tour for you (please email us).


Pick up Location: We pick up at all Winton accommodation (including local residences), so we just need to know where you are staying in Winton. If you don't know yet, just put TBA, but please remember to let us know when you know. We start pick ups 15 minutes prior to the tour time but the pick up time is the same for every location - Winton is a small town!
